This is a limited edition Rapha Davis Phinney long sleeve sportswool jersey in size xl. The jersey is in 10/10, almost new condition with no signs of wear. This is a very rare special edition that Rapha did to celebrate both Davis and Connie. The jersey is loaded down with a ton of small details, as well as have quite a bit of hi viz reflective detail throughout with 3 rear pockets, 1/2 zipper, made with a merno and polyester blended mix. As far as sizing, This jersey is slightly closer fit than most Classic jerseys that are similar. This jerseyn would fit a 41.5″ to 42.5″ at the most. The torso is not as long as some jerseys. This special edition wool jerseys pay tribute to Davis Phinney, the American cyclist whose hundreds of professional victories include national, world and Olympic titles. The Davis Phinney Foundations motto, Every Victory Counts, is printed inside the collars and custom zip puller represent the medals he won in L. Davis won the final running of the race in 1988. His Inside story label (sewn into the right rear pocket) tells a tale of Phinney family racing exploits. Rapha worked closely with Davis and the designs of the jersey take prompts from the racing jerseys he wore in competition. Davis was a local hero at the Coors International Bicycle Classic, Americas preeminent road race of the 1980s.
