This listing is for my Rapha Long Sleeved Brevet Jersey in Coral with white and black stripes. This jersey is highly distinctive and visible and it’s not possible to get this jersey in this colour combination from Rapha now. It has been used but cared for and is in great condition as you can see from the photographs. There are some small and minor signs of wear but nothing visible or material. Reluctant sale but not getting any use. Based on the short-sleeve jersey rigorously tested by Rapha riders at Paris-Brest-Paris, the long-sleeve version has been created for endurance rides where additional visibility and storage are important but where extra insulation is required. It has three large cargo pockets, as well as a zipped ballast pocket for carrying the hi-vis Brevet Vest and/ or an extra jacket. The front of the jersey also has a zipped chest pocket for carrying a brevet card. Designed specifically for riding in low light, the jersey has two stripes around the chest, one in black, another in a perforated reflective white Schoeller fabric. Other visibility details include a reflective white armband on the left arm and reflective tab on the back of the jersey. The jersey is highly breathable and versatile enough to be used from autumn through to spring. Brand new Rapha ProTeam Aero Jersey – never worn with tags. In developing the Pro Team Aero collection, Raphas designers and a group of WorldTour riders tested new skinsuit designs in a wind tunnel. They found aero gains with a dual-fabric construction smooth-faced fabrics on leading panels, and a textured fabric on trailing edges at the back of the sleeves and across the shoulders. These refinements are now incorporated into the Pro Team Long Sleeve Aero Jersey. The smooth panels aid airflow away from the riders frontal area while the textured mesh helps air transition from a laminar flow to a turbulent flow simply put, the low-pressure wake behind a rider is reduced, lowering the overall drag on the riders body. The form-fitting cut ensures no fabric is caught in the wind, and the main panels are cut from a brushed-back material for insulation in cool weather. The jerseys three rear pockets are mesh-lined for ventilation, and the valuables pocket now features a heavy duty Vislon zip. The front zippers placket is thicker than in previous versions, keeping the hardware at the zip’s base from snagging on bib shorts.
